AAA Cards- Masking

Happy Sunday!
It's time for another challenge at AAA Cards, our sponsor for this challenge is STAMPlorations with a $15 get certificate to the winner and two $5 given to two randomly drawn players and all players get a 10% off coupon.

To make my card I started with a white top folding note card and a panel cut down with a stitched die. I stamped the rose image from the new Graceful Garden set by Stampin Up and then used post it notes to mask it off and placed the stencil over the masked image and sponged some Tempting Turquoise over it. I removed the mask and colored the image with Copic markers.
I added the sympathy greeting from the Rose Wonder set also by Stampin Up, because unfortunately I had to send this one off to a friend.

The greeting is from the set Oh So Eclectic by Stampin Up,
To finish the card I added some clear sequins from Pretty, Pink, Posh.

Live Simply

It's time for another encouragement challenge at Calling All Sistahs
Congratulations to the winner from last month.
Our challenge is to use the inspiration photo below to create a card to send someone a word of encouragement as they go through a struggle. It doesn't have to be cancer it can be for someone who has lost someone, lost a job, or just needs a word of encouragement. The real challenge is will you mail it? I love to go to the mailbox and find happy mail instead of or with the bills, always makes my heart happy.
oh and
There is a prize involved as well, a $25 voucher to CAS-ual Fridays Stamps and if you use CAS-ual Fridays products and are the winner it will increase to $50

To me this photo is serene and simple and along with the colors that is where I drew the inspiration for my card.
To make my card I started with a Crumb Cake top folding note card and a bristol paper panel cut down with a stitched die. I stamped the image from the Dream Then Do set with Versamark ink and then embossed it with white embossing powder. Next I blended some Broken China & Faded Jeans Distress Oxide inks over the image and spritzed with water. To finish the card I added some white enamel dots.

You Are Cherished

Up on the Sweet 'n Sassy blog today!
I'm a  little late with my post I was thinking I was to post tomorrow, anywho here's today's card featuring the Scribble Flowers and the All About You sets.

To make my card, I started with a top folding white note card and a piece ow watercolor paper cut down with a stitched die. I randomly stamped the floral images  from the Scribble Flowers set all over the watercolor paper using Versafine Black Onyx ink, next I just scribbled color over the images using Zig clean color real brush pens and then spritzed with water. After the panel dried I added randomly added some black dots with a fine tipped sharpie.
For the greeting I stamped the word You from the All About You set using Versamark ink and heat set it with clear embossing powder so it would stand out against the background. I added the panel to a black mat and then to finish the card I stamped the rest of the greeting in Versamark ink on a black piece of card stock and heat set it with white embossing powder then used foam tape to give it dimension.

Calling All Sistahs August Reminder

It's the 17th of the month and time for the Calling All Sistahs reminder to check your girls. I have quite a few friends fighting this horrible disease at the present time, so please get your mammograms so you are not added to the count.
As I have said before I lost my mom to breast cancer at a young age and I am a survivor myself so cancer hits home with me and I do not want any more of my friends to have to fight this horrible disease.

Cancer can be beaten if caught early so please do self exams and get your mammograms once a year if thats what the doctor suggests. You can also help find a cure by purchasing products from the Calling All Sistahs line where 50% of the profits go towards breast cancer research.

Now for my reminder card.
I used the Hope Ribbon and the Ruffled Ribbon Fri-die on my card. I started with a white top folding card base and some patterned paper. I cut strips of the patterned paper and placed them on a scrap piece of card stock and then cut it out with the Ruffled Ribbon Fri-Die. I also added some of that same patterned paper to the bottom of my card.

Day Two of Rainbow Maker

I had to move on to Day two of the Rainbow Maker card class, I don't think I will get done before the galleries close but at least I can get a few cards in there.
I am loving this class because I love rainbows and color so you will continue to see lots of color in the coming days as I finish the class.
This card uses the set Balloon Celebration and the Stylized Birthday sentiment both by Stampin Up. I randomly stamped the balloon across the top in rainbow order and as I stamped I also stamped a second generation as well.
I used the Creative Corners by My Sweet Petunia to help me line up the greeting since it is wood mounted.

Still Day One

Yep I am still on day one of the Rainbow Maker card class at Online Card Classes.
Today I used the stamp set Lovely Friends by Stamping Up, Distress inks and lots of sequins.
This card was super simple to make, I stated with a top folding note card and a panel cut down with a stitched die. I sponged the colors around in rainbow order and then added sequins in the colors also.

This card is also for a team challenge #team15in15
